A single piece painted over the course of two days. A lot of layering and fine detail best seen at full screen.
This piece - very important for me - was painted after my return from Gabon. At this point I was still recovering from Dengue fever/Chikungunya/malady unknown (ie: very sick) and trying to figure out the almost unfathomable vastness of information I received during my Initation into the Mitsogho Bwiti (they use a plant called Iboga as a primary component in the initiation - it is an extremely potent hallucinogen that can sometimes lead to death). The ladder became symbolic of the access I was given both to deeper shadow aspects of the world and higher, purer aspects. One of the most transformative and downright scary experiences of my life, but one that has made me infinitely stronger.
Various projects and paintings from 2011 that didn't deserve their own page. Some were prints for friends, others were personal paintings that I felt deserved showing.
Variants and personal favorites left over from the Omni Directional Dub Machine album cover I did. These were ideas I liked but ones that didn't quite fit the album.
painted at the start of the new year, soon after my return from the jungles of Gabon
A Year In a Minute was a daily project I set myself for the months of March and April. I would spend at least an hour a day creating something new - most of the works here are sketches, or foundations for future pieces.
In some downtime at work these prints were created. Yum yum!
Several paintings and photomanipulations from 2007
